2. What we collect

From landlords: name, phone number, email, UPI VPA, building addresses, tenant details you enter.
From tenants: name, phone, email, UPI VPA (optional), payment activity on bills issued through RentEzy.
Automatic: sign-in timestamps, basic device/IP info for security and abuse prevention.

3. How we use it

Send rent reminders, invites, and receipts to tenants on your behalf.
Generate UPI payment links and track which bills are paid.
Authenticate sign-ins via one-time codes (SMS/email).
Show you your dashboard, history, and metrics.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers required to deliver the product: Google Firebase (hosting, database, auth), Resend (email), and an SMS / WhatsApp provider for nudges. We do not sell your data.

5. Storage and retention

Data lives in Google Firebase (Asia/India region). We retain tenancy and payment records for as long as your account is active, plus a period reasonable for tax and legal purposes.

6. Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing privacy@rent-ezy.com. Tenants can ask their landlord to remove them, or contact us directly.

We will update this page when our practices change and update the "Last updated" date above.
